Questions we get before the first call.
If something here is not covered, ask us directly. We would rather answer it before an engagement than have it become a disagreement during one.
Who do you work with?
Direct-to-consumer brands selling physical products online, and the founders or in-house teams running them. We are most useful to brands that already have some traffic and some sales, because there is data to work with. We also take on new builds where the operator has a validated product and a realistic budget.
How does an engagement start?
With an audit. We review the storefront, the ad accounts, the tracking setup and the unit economics, then send a written report. From there we propose a scoped roadmap. You approve it before any implementation begins. The audit is a real deliverable: you can act on it whether or not you continue with us.
How is pricing structured?
We charge professional fees against a defined scope, agreed after the audit. We do not publish package pricing, because a price quoted before anyone has looked at the account is a guess dressed up as a number.
We do not charge a percentage of ad spend. That model pays the agency more for spending more of your money, which is not an incentive we want in the room when we are advising you on budget.
How long do engagements run?
The audit takes one to two weeks. Build work is scoped in the roadmap and typically runs four to twelve weeks depending on how much is in it. Ongoing acquisition management is a monthly engagement with a defined notice period. Advisory runs for a fixed term agreed up front.
Do you work with brands outside the United States?
Yes. We work remotely with brands across Latin America, Spain and the United States, and we work in English and Spanish. ECOM SPIDER LLC is registered in Wyoming and invoices in United States dollars.
Which platforms do you work on?
Shopify for storefronts. Meta and TikTok for paid acquisition. We implement measurement through each platform's server-side conversions API alongside the browser pixel. If your stack is meaningfully different from that, tell us during the enquiry and we will say honestly whether we are the right team.
Who owns the accounts and the work?
You do. Ad accounts, pixels, themes, domains, dashboards and documentation are created in your name and under your ownership from the start. When an engagement ends, nothing has to be handed back, because nothing was ever held. We revoke our own access and you keep everything.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, and we treat client work as confidential by default whether or not one is signed. Anything we publish about an engagement is anonymised unless the client has given written permission to be named.
We already have an agency. Is that a problem?
No. A number of engagements start as an independent audit of work someone else is doing, and some of those conclude that the existing agency is doing a reasonable job. We will tell you that if it is what we find. We are not interested in winning an account by talking down work that is performing.
Do you guarantee results?
No, and you should be cautious with anyone who does. Paid acquisition outcomes depend on the product, the offer, the margin and the market, several of which sit outside our control. What we commit to is a defined scope, a documented rationale for every decision made on your account, and an honest read during the audit if we think the plan will not work.
