Process

Audit first. Then a plan you approve before anything is built.

Every engagement runs through the same four stages. The order is deliberate: measurement goes in before optimisation, because otherwise there is no honest way to tell whether the optimisation worked.

01

Audit

One to two weeks. We get read access to the storefront, the ad accounts and the analytics, and we go through them properly rather than skimming for obvious wins.

  • Storefront review: product page structure, cart and checkout flow, mobile performance
  • Ad account review: structure, creative history, spend efficiency, what was already tested
  • Tracking audit: which events fire, which do not, and how far platform numbers sit from real orders
  • Unit economics: cost of goods, shipping, fees, and the break-even threshold those imply
  • A written report, including the parts of your setup that are already working and should be left alone
02

Plan

A scoped roadmap built from the audit findings, sequenced by expected impact rather than by what is quickest to deliver.

  • Workstreams in priority order, with the reasoning for the sequence
  • The specific metric each workstream is expected to move
  • Timeline, owners and dependencies
  • Fixed pricing against the agreed scope
  • Nothing is built until you approve this document
03

Build

Implementation in the agreed order. Tracking is almost always first, so that everything built afterwards can be evaluated against reliable data.

  • Measurement layer installed and validated against real orders
  • Storefront work shipped to a staging theme, reviewed, then published
  • Ad account restructured and creative testing started
  • Assets created in your accounts, in your name, from day one
  • Progress visible to you throughout, not revealed at the end
04

Iterate

The ongoing phase. Performance is reviewed weekly against the thresholds set during the audit, and every significant decision is written down.

  • Weekly written report against the agreed metrics
  • A documented rationale for every scale, hold or kill decision
  • Continuous creative testing with stated hypotheses
  • Thresholds recalculated when margins, pricing or the offer change
  • A monthly session to review direction rather than tactics

Working together

What we need from you

Engagements stall for predictable reasons. These are the ones we can avoid up front.

Access

Accounts and data

Collaborator access to Shopify, the ad accounts and analytics. Real cost of goods and shipping figures, because thresholds calculated from estimates are worth nothing.

Decisions

One decision-maker

A single named person who can approve scope, creative and budget. Work reviewed by committee moves at the speed of the slowest reviewer.

Runway

Budget to learn with

Testing requires enough spend to produce a readable result. We will tell you honestly during the audit if the available budget is too thin for the plan to work.

The audit is the first step, and it is a real deliverable.

You get a written report you can act on, whether or not you continue with us.
